Hello,

I attended the half-yearly Parent Council Chairs meeting in Perth. I would like to share two web links from two of the agenda items.

The first is a link to a youtube video that very nicely explains what 'Curriculum for Excelence' actually means. In my view so far the best and clearest explanation of the ideas behind it. You can find the video here:

March 2013 Newsletter

Please find attached the final newsletter before the Spring break ( although with the recent weather it doesn't feel much like springtime!).  Not only is the weather playing havoc with travel and events it has ensured that the newsletter is already out of date as the P5 & P6 Rugby Festival planned for Monday 25 March has been cancelled today due to more bad weather that is being forecast!

We do hope that there is much to inform and interest you in our latest newsletter.

Have a super spring break when it arrives and school will be open for pupils on Tuesday 16 April 2013.

Please find attached our first newsletter of 2013!  Dates for Your Diary takes us up to mid March however please consult the annual overview issued June 2012 for dates/main events beyond that.

We have a Sharing Learning this Friday 8 February and a schedule of learning experiences you will be invited to see (or indeed try for yourself!) will be issued mid week.
